“Everyone likes to go for a walk. Strolling around with no predicted aim to relax and find inspiration in constant, non-directed movement,” the designer tells It’s Nice That. “My thought was, do we stroll in the park in a similar way to how we scroll through the internet and instagram?” Therefore, the Selfie Park is a graphic-based installation, enabling the user to take a physical stroll in graphic surroundings.

Nadine Kolodziey is a Frankfurt and Berlin based visual artist and illustrator. Her work is digital, handcut, melted or sometimes made into a walkable environment. In doing so, forms are created in a analogue and digital way - materials such as plastic and pixels are combined. Graduated as Master of art and design at HfG Offenbach, Kolodzieys work is dedicated to the field of visual research useing new media like augmented reality (AR).
Kolodziey worked for clients like Google, Youtube, Page and die Zeit. 2017 Wallpaper magazine selected her as one of the graduates of the year. Since May 2018 she is a creative resident for Adobe Systems in Germany, following her experimental project The undrawn drawing tour, inviting the community to explore and push boundaries of what we know as drawing.
